The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 is a compact, high-performance digital display designed for the BMW E60/E61 5 Series. Available in both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) versions, it provides real-time data monitoring with full CAN Bus integration while fitting neatly into the interior with an OEM-like finish.At its core is a 2.8″ TFT capacitive touchscreen with sharp graphics and intuitive controls, framed by a high-quality milled aluminium bezel for durability and premium aesthetics. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the display can be rotated 90°, giving you the flexibility to mount in portrait or landscape orientation.The MFD28 Gen2 is fully customisable via CANchecked’s DSS (Display Setup Software), allowing you to configure up to 10 pages with 64 widgets per page. It supports up to 128 sensors from the CAN Bus and internal sources, meaning you can monitor everything from boost and AFR to oil pressure, fuel pressure, and EGT. With 4 analogue inputs (0–5V), the system is ready for additional aftermarket sensors, while support for UDS, KWP2000, OBD, TP2.0 and standalone ECU protocols ensures broad compatibility.A built-in CAN Bus Logger makes protocol analysis straightforward and allows for reverse engineering of unknown CAN data streams.
