The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 is a premium digital display designed specifically for the BMW E39 5 Series (1995–2003). Suitable for both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles, this compact 2.8″ display integrates seamlessly into your interior, delivering real-time sensor data in a clear and fully customisable format.Built around a 2.8″ TFT capacitive touchscreen housed in a milled aluminium frame, the MFD28 combines durability with a high-quality, OEM-like appearance. Its symmetrical design allows for 90° rotation, so you can mount it in either portrait or landscape orientation.Using the included DSS (Display Setup Software), you can create up to 10 pages, each with 64 widgets, giving you total control over how your data is displayed. The unit supports up to 128 sensors via CAN Bus and internal sources, and also provides 4 analogue 0–5V inputs for additional sensors such as oil pressure, fuel pressure, exhaust gas temperature (with adapter), or boost. An optional external shift light and CAN Bus Switching functionality add even more flexibility for performance applications.With support for industry-standard CAN Bus protocols including UDS, KWP2000, OBD, TP2.0 and standalone ECUs, the MFD28 ensures compatibility across a wide range of OEM and aftermarket systems.
