The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 is a high-performance digital display designed specifically for BMW E36 3 Series LHD models (1990–2000), including Saloon, Coupe, Touring, Convertible and M3 variants. This compact 2.8″ TFT capacitive touchscreen provides real-time engine and performance data while fitting seamlessly into your E36’s interior.Built with a precision-milled aluminium front frame, the MFD28 is both durable and stylish. Its symmetrical design allows for a 90° rotation, letting you choose between portrait or landscape orientation depending on your setup.With DSS (Display Setup Software), you can create up to 10 configurable pages, each with as many as 64 widgets per page, fully customising the data layout to suit your driving needs. Supporting up to 128 sensors via CAN Bus and internal data, plus 4 additional 0–5V analogue inputs for sensors like oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost, or EGT, the MFD28 offers outstanding flexibility.The system is compatible with multiple CAN Bus protocols including UDS, KWP2000, OBD, and TP2.0, while also supporting standalone ECUs. It can also be expanded with an optional external shift light and includes CAN Bus Switching for additional integration.
